NCBCE AI Fellows

Through a partnership with Google.org, the NCBCE AI Fellows program seeks exceptional NC computer science (CS) educators who are passionate about advancing computer science education within their school community. This competitive program will identify an initial cohort of 20 outstanding teachers to participate in an intensive summer training program focused on advanced CS topics, pedagogical strategies, and leadership development, equipping them to become effective trainers for their peers. Fellows will receive ongoing mentorship, technology mini-grants, and opportunities for professional collaboration while leading workshops for other educators in their regions.

Through this strategic approach to building educational leadership, the program aims to create a powerful multiplier effect, ultimately impacting around 20,000 students across North Carolina. By investing in teacher excellence and fostering a community of CS education leaders, this initiative directly addresses high-quality computer science instruction that engages students, sparks creativity, and prepares them for future opportunities in technology.
